Louise Borinski is a graphic designer focusing on visual identities, publications, type design and exhibition design. She works for small businesses, creative professionals and cultural institutions in the areas of digital and print media. She studied Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts (2014 – 2019) and completed her MA-degree in Graphic Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts (2020 – 2022). Her projects deal with feminist thought processes and collaborative methods. Often starting from abstract forms, she explores various forms of representation, mark-making, symbols and typography and what role they perform in the narratives that govern our society.
She is also currently teaching as Artistic Associate in the graphic design class at the Berlin University of the Arts.
